Who is Mudmee Vigar (MAMI)
Mudmee Vigar, know as “Thai Cooking Queen” Mami is Miss Thailand Ambassador, the royal family from Lanna Kingdom before “ SIAM” the director and owner of Empower Australia & Thailand Foundation
She grew up in Thailand and pursued a successful career in the food business, fashion, modelling, entertainment, and hospitality.
She migrated to Australia 2010 and has followed her passion for culture and cooking with success. Mami has embraced Australia as her new home as a mother with three children,and a very successful businesswoman.
After building a successful career in Thailand’s food, fashion, and entertainment industries.Now based in Brisbane, she has found a new purpose: bringing people together through Thai cooking and charity work. “I believe food is a powerful way to connect communities, support others, and spread happiness,” she explains.
From June 2025, her Cooking Experience & Food Charity Program will offer affordable Thai and Asian cooking classes across Moreton Bay, Sandgate, Woody Point, Enoggera, and Redcliffe. Classes are open to all, with memberships starting at $50. As part of her foundation’s work, Mudmee will also provide free meals for the homeless, and she’s calling on local businesses and government for support.
Mudmee’s long-term goal is to grow her “Cooking Masters Australia” event—an inclusive ‘ Cultural Cooking Festival—and she welcomes anyone who would like to help bring the vision to life.
